From McDonald's to University

I don't know the situation elsewhere, but e.g here in Lappeenranta,
Finland two of those various people I know have worked in Golden Arches (the female one still
does it) and they've completed their high schools quite succesfully.
They're both intended to go to a university, only that the male one has to complete his compulsory military service first. Best regards, Anssi
