Why is marijuanna illegal?

There's only one diference between alcohol and marijuanna, ones legal and ones not. Alcohol can effect kids just as bad and maybe worse than marijuanna. Alcohol effects judgement, liver and brain damage. Marijuanna effects judgement, lungs and brain damage. SO WHY THE HELL IS ONE LEGAL AND THE OTHER ISN'T. (I'M GOING TO SMOKE NOW)
