As for the dude who posted that crap attacking the "Internationale," I don't think he could have gotten more ironic than he did, although he didn't realize it. He cited the single man standing in front of the tank in Beijing. Well guess what? One of the songs that the Chinese protestors sang in Tiananmen square that day was the "Internationale," the great anthem of the world labor and socialist movements.
Certainly the footage of the crackdown in Tiananmen was no "capitalist plot"; the crackdown was real enough. However, the media translated all of the protestors' songs into subtitles for the American audience, but when they got to the lyrics of the "Internationale," these were not translated (true!). I can certainly detect more than a wiff of bourgeois censoriousness in that.
