: I quote Burroughs on occasion (from the 'trilogy'), however, because many of his texts are classic---and comical---revolutionary utterances.

: And just to show off that I'm a well-read guy...

: Your turn.

OK, I tried reading him a long time ago, didn't do a thing for me. Everybody said he was good, fine. To me he's a waste.
Same with James Joyce. Finnegans Wake was a pain in the arse, I couldn't get half way through it. To me it was junk. But the sort of junk that your expected to say is wonderful, IF you want the approval of certain other folks.
Nah.
Hey, how about the guy who splattered paint from a step ladder? That's supposed to be really really good art!
Gimme a break, it's junk.
Now, Brautigan, there's a good writer. Robbins, 'Still life with Woodpecker', another one. Hemingway! Now your cooking. F. Scott Fitzgerald! Waughm!
OK, your turn.

Yeah, that's what I meant, he put a bullet in his wife's head. Did he do any time for that? Took place in Mexico, didn't it?
At least it wasn't an icepick...
