Nothing in the world is preventing that family of four from heading out to greeener pastures. There are 49 other states besides Massachusetts. If that family insists on staying there, fine. Let them know that there are a lot of others who find living in Boston equally attractive and will compete economically for that privilege.
You'v got to ask yourself; A family of four? The mother refuses to work? The father hasn't considered a second job? Are they planning on expanding their family? Did they think of the responsibilities associated with raising children?
Does Socialism encourage this sort of behavior? Is the answer really more taxes?
