Factoid: I have no hard data to confirm this, but I've heard that MS was cooperating closely with the communist regime of China to help find hackers there. The students involved in this sort of black-market activity frequently are also involved with pro-democracy movements. Both organizations have good reason to see these folks come to a bad end, and China has the muscle to make it happen. Anything on this?
