To Quincunx: My Expertise in Swill

My apologies on this late response. I was not aware of your confusion as to the academic antics of Mr. Noam Chomsky. I, also, must pledge some ignorance in this regard; your kind prompting spurred me to do a bit of research, and I have cured it. Allow me to assist you as well.

The source of my education is one Sophal Ear, who was an honors student at the University of Berkeley, and who was nice enough to post this thesis, written presumably in the course of pursuing a degree there. To be fair, Mr. Chomsky did not act alone; he seemed to have an accomplice, in one Mr. Edward Herman.

Unfortunately, in regards to 'swill' - such as, for example, kulaks, or educated persons - that 'sort' inevitably make their return, frequently at the most inopportune times. The sorts of 'political actions' as are implemented by famous Left-wing activists as Vladimir Lenin, Stalin, Pol Pot, Fidel Castro, et. al. prove usually to be only temporary fixes. The promise of communist utopia must be generously nourished with the blood of the 'enemies of the revolution' for it to remain vibrant and alive; a continuous and unending task for the dedicated revolutionary, I'm afraid. We swill need 'taking care of' constantly, as I have been so frequently reminded.

Incidentally, after the invasion of Cambodia in 1979 by the NVA, and the subsequent conquest and supression of said, Mr. Chomsky's views have become much more clear in regards the Khmer Rouge. Like the communists of the immediate pre-WW II period, once the ground forces of the "state capitalists" have been committed, the party line is adhered to rigorously. It is that time, just before the lines are clearly drawn, where the unpleasant equivocation occurs. Thus, the unpleasant weaseliness of Leftists during the duration of the Pact regarding Nazism (9/39 to 6/40). So also one might explain Noam's behavior vis a vis the minions of Pol Pot. Yes?
