: It seems that lately on this board the standard has gone down quite a bit. Maybe it is because people are getting tired or reiterating their old arguments or tensions are just running high. Er.. Occam's Razor. Maybe simply some people are just MORONS?

That's a joke. Seriously, though, since none of us are going to actually meet and pound on each other's faces, I think we could make these conversations at least polite, if not pleasant. OK, I'm a newbie here, but frankly, at first, I was absolutely TERRIFIED of the near TOXIC, cynical air here. (Of course, this is not like it's NEW to me or anything, but.. ).
Putting aside emotions and putting up reason is pretty hard, but why don't we give it a try?
