Stu: …..Just ask how good the war was for the surviving members of families who lost a husband, a father, or other family member. I know anecdotal accounts are anathema to revolutionaries but they are the face of humanity to me and never to be trivialized.

Would Stuart care to say this about the American Revolutionary (bourgeois) War?

DDN : I don’t know if this has been brought up recently or not, but I think that when people say they want “less government”, what they really mean is that they want less of THIS government that we have RIGHT NOW, not necessarily less government in general.

Yes! I believe the reason over 50% of the American people do NOT vote is because they are trying to reject the 'options' in favor of BETTER options.

: :Stu: ….I know! Let's have an election to prove it.

And we all know what Stuart's idea of 'democracy' is from this post:

Is that the moral position you are taking - that I should turn my company over to the employees in a magnanimous gesture of democratic principle? Fine! They will all get one vote for every $10,000 they invest. I get 12 votes for my $120,000 and another 16 votes for the years I spent researching and developing when I could have made money in my former trade instead. Is that fair?

Is that 'fair'? Is that democracy?
