: You did notice the word 'error' wrapped in inverted commas to indicate this? I also imagine that you do appreciate the limitations of anecdotal evidence, however useful as an insight - if you dont see any force that doesnt mean it is absent.

SDF: I see. Force is only force if it is certified to exist by a certified libertarian or anarchocapitalist.

: what is individual about 100 people voting variously on what policy to use and being bound by the majority vote?

To quote the immortal Gee:

This is the idiotic belief that if two libertarians agree on something then that agreement somehow invalidates indivualism;

ps I looked at the link you provided. The "specifics" of how school is to be taught in Iowa state schools, as they are stated, are so vague that the private school I went to in California can be said to meet them. And the fact that you can cite state guidelines, however much it may bolster your self-esteem, says nothing about the ACTUAL PRACTICES of schoolteachers. I still have you down as clinging to

the popular fallacy that "state ownership" and "private ownership" are terms that necessarily say something about how a school is RUN, whereas in fact they only describe WHO OWNS THE SCHOOL.

as I said here. So far I have seen nothing of substance to challenge this assumption. Gainsay it all you want -- a believable counter-argument requires a presentation of substantive evidence.
