The "specifics" of how school is to be taught in Iowa state schools, as they are stated, are so vague that the private school I went to in California can be said to meet them. And the fact that you can cite state guidelines, however much it may bolster your self-esteem, says nothing about the ACTUAL PRACTICES of schoolteachers. I still have you down as clinging to
the popular fallacy that "state ownership" and "private ownership" are terms that necessarily say something about how a school is RUN, whereas in fact they only describe WHO OWNS THE SCHOOL.
