They shouldn't have backed Suharto in his coup, they shouldn't have provided "Shooting Lists"(useful for knowing which person they should shoot first in East Timor.. duh..) to the Indonesian intellgience agencies, they shouldn't have sent D.Patrick Moynihan to render the UN intervention to impotency.
And they SHOULD have done something when 60,000 people were killed in the first two weeks with the invasion of Timor!
ps) Well, where's that brave-hearted human rights activist charade of the USA, when they really need one in Timor?
