Which, as far as I'm concerned, is part of the problem. It would be difficult to point out a situation in which a brain surgeon was forced by circumstance to become a brain surgeon. Such is not the case for the migratory farmworker family. To reduce everything to some law of supply and demand ignores the real world where both these parameters can be and are artificially created.
