No, I havent encouraged one thing or another. By stating that there are relationships between study and employment there is no encouragement. Would you think it better if people didnt think of how their studies would relate to their options post study? That goes for apparently useful skills which are no longer used (eg some computer languages, some engineering skills) and so forth. You seem to be making some issue out of it.
