SDF: I had always thought most of America's fruit was grown in California, Washington, Texas, and Florida, that for the rest of the country it had to do with what it is cheap for corporations to ship. I remember that when I lived in Ohio it was difficult to find a decent mango, and they were always incredibly expensive.
