First of all I understand you to be the vile capitalist on this board - yes I have read your posts about the poeple as being individual, your vile defence of the free market - the enemy of the collective, you will learn come the revolution.
Nevertheless a point is raised on private charity - it is an anathema to socialism, and anathema to egalitarianism.
What would you have - people deciding by themselves who to help and who not to help? This is the crack which grows to destroy our socialist future - that a person should choose one over another is the seed of the destruction of the collective. Private charity by its very privacy is evil.
It is from each according to his ability to each according to his need! That the first group might choose whom among the second group is evil! There shall be no such choices - all are equal. This is the courage of Scientific Socialism.
