Also - there is scope for people to take more from the ordered stock than they 'ordered' thus depriving others.And teh people as manage stock will keep an eye on such matters, and send off orders- teh people on teh ground will be in charge of watching and collating data and running things, much like now with businesses, only infrequent meetings will be needed to discuss significant apportionment of resources.

Say the farmers were a productive bunch - lots of food all round, but the various other members were not very productive and some were near useless. the farmers could easily feel they were carrying everyone along and might get fed up with this - with getting less back from the commune than they put in.
In which case they stop working, nd other people have to help produce the farm food. however, they have an interest in providng lots of food for themselves to share.

No, because the above relies upon people not realising their own needs and not working hard enough to produce in such a way as the farmers feel put-out- no-one would have a 'stable job' to do for years on end, people would rotate. People contribute according to their abilities, and are recognised, but needs are seperated from that.

Sorry, forgetting my theoretical vocabulary- we exist in a social totality, everyone in the totality plays a part, like it or not, as long as they are there- who is more necessary, the guy that fills the bottle with ragoo suace (tricky job) or the woman who screws on the caps (easy job) answer- both are equally necessary. We can never fully evaluate the worth of someone's labour.
