You would be trading what you are able to do with the means to survival. Or we would all have to be allotment farmers, and never develop beyond that.

Consumers pay all the taxes. The pay for the taxes on goods, for the taxes on everything behind that good (income tax, profit tax and every reg that goes into raising the cost of what they buy).

Ironically, if you dont want to pay tax then either break the law, or buy nothing.
