: How to be free: "You don't have to reconstruct the social order; you don't have to overpower the villains; you don't have to re-educate the world; you don't need a miracle. All you have to do is to use your sovereign power of choice to release yourself from those who would keep you in bondage."
: That quotation disturbs all politicians, and all crusaders for change (ie change in others!). I found it an interesting, even challenging proposition so I though it might make an interesting thing to discuss in a political forum.
"Change in others" is the bottom line here.
In my explorations of individuals and their mind-sets
I find fewer than one in 100 will *consistently*
allow others to just go about their lives in peace.
Almost everyone has Their Grand Plan to make everyone
else conform to their own personal set of morals.
To be physically free and out of reach of these
cretins requires an on-going effort.
"I dream of the day when some authority junky walks up
to me and asks for some ID and I say,
'I'm a Sovereign Individual' and he says,
'I beg your pardon, sir. ' . . . and leaves.
And all this, whether or not I'm 'packin a piece'."
