: Actually I do belive Capitalist elites silence naysayers just not directly, they have subordinates do that for them. They also fight amongst themselves most of the time so you can rarely identify them as a group because they don't act as a group.
I think this is a media elite (interested not in liberty and property, but in power), and they can be ignored or believed at individual choice. the net is a great way to bypass them (and just as dangerous a source of misinformation). I'll add that most news at nine type programmes are not outright misinformation services.
