The real answer is that if you ban liberal stuff, highbrow intellectual material who's gonna give a fuck?

If you ban radicla books then the media etc. are going to be all over that like a rash, plus radicals are more of a bastard category to contain liberals and conservatives are more likely to believe it's in their interests in the long run.
