This is a bit confusing. Perhaps it should go something like this:
The fundamental root of Marxism is flawed. The system is unworkable, and is based on principles that are simply not true. Insisting on imposing this system on others leads inevitably to nihilism, as one is forced to justify totalitarian chaos. Orwell's life sums this up quite nicely.
And now ... given that capitalism is the predominant and popular global economic system of the world, how might the ideas of socialists be used to improve it? Have you an answer for that?
