So Called Anarcho-Capitalism

Now, we have some on the board saying Anarcho-Capitalism is the way to go, and that the state is an aberation upon the pure functioning of capitalism, that creates poverty, and prevents us entering teh world of plenty.:

*It's been tried... it was called Laissez-Faire Capitalism. There are actually people out there, many of whom have polluted the New York Times Forum on the Labor Movement for a year or more, who call themselves 'Corporate Libertarians[sic].'

So far as I can tell, they do not pretend that the political-economic system they propose is fair. Rather they stand firmly on the idea that it would work.* --K
