: : By both, people are born to a station, people with power enforce class divisions, and by chaos, as people make choices that effect the class structure. Whatever, its is a thing created by system, which is why teh system must go...: HOw do they go about doing this then? How do they use 'chaos' to advantage....
-----
1. Boycott products that are socially destructive (within the system)
2. Join a labor movement or political party that seeks to transform the system.

Two more points -
1. We are not talking large numbers here. Unfortunately, whether it's "Horatio Alger" or mere tokenism, one study has found (cited in a post down the list a ways) that as little as 2% mobility is enough to discourage mass action!
2. The "upward striving" in terms of class mobility is simply playing the game of inequity. To compete for and derive self-esteem (always relative to one's neighbor) based on a system's determination of what it means to be a "success", insures that certain values will be incorporated at the expense of others. Thus "tree huggers" are scorned. Child care, in so far as it isn't incorporated into the profit system, is ignored. Any activity that isn't amenable to commercial exploitation is out....
None.
