Gideon, I've enjoyed your contributions to this Debating Room, since they have been characterized by an orderly presentation of evidence, and especially since McSpotlight is set up so that very small machines (such as mine) can post here, whereas in other BBS systems you need something significantly more powerful to do anything more than read other people's stuff. BUT...

I've seen a very intelligent debate on global warming on one of Time Magazine's Pathfinder boards, namely the "politics" board. It was very lively, very heavy on discussions of EVIDENCE, and sometimes dominated by people re-posting variations the "there is no global warming" thesis. And very intelligent at many points. It appears to have come and gone, though. I'm not sure you will find anything here of the same caliber.
