No, an appeal to emotion can be a valid argument, since it is inherently an appeal to values, which are notoriusly nebulus and illogical.

No comprimise also can be a perfectly logical argument, in that if its premises are true, and there is no other option, then you must do that, hence our 'no reforms' policy is based on such a surmise, that it is impossible to abolish poverty under capitalism.
