When thinking of Rupert Murdoch, Conrad Black, Ted Turner, Robert Maxwell, the word "Marxist" isn't one that really springs to mind ;)

The *free* media may or may not be Marxist. The "Popular" media most certainly ain't. Here in the UK, the popular media is small-minded, right-wing, reactionary and xenophobic.
