If Lark is correct and I'm a utopian then Thomas More is not a utopian. This, seems to defy logic as More is the first utterer of "utopia" and people have over time through trial and error achieved an expectation that this word means approximately the definition I gave above.

But, if I were to be consistently called utopian then through repeated use the word would gradually do an etymological one-eighty. Just another piece of evidence for words as teleological conventions and not imposed constructions.
