Letting capitalism collapse

The ONLY task we have left is to socialise ownership or control of production. If we let capitalism collapse, by definition capitalist production collapses. Even the greatest crimes of Stalin, Hitler and 20th century United States Presidents all put together won't pale in comparison to the mass starvation & mayhem that would occur in the "ensuing chaos".

SDF: On the other hand, there are some who would argue that ending capitalist production TODAY would lengthen the life of the oil reserves and slow down the ongoing human destruction of the biosphere. I guess it all hinges on what Andy means by "letting capitalism collapse," which is of course something capitalism will do to itself. Capitalism will doubtless take the biosphere with it, on its way down...
