: There is nothing inherently wrong with government regulation.I really want to get by this whole 'public bad, private good' nonsense that is dominating political discourse at present, it's got to be a clear and reasoned set of points as to why it's bad not vauge 'statism' is bad notionalism.
Now if you want to say it's because it's a monopoly then I'm prepared to debate but I'll be asking the crucial question of why is a private monopoly any more efficient or 'good' than a public one.
Once we've dealt with the ownership issue, IE it doesnt matter, so there is no reason, from an individualistic or economic stand point, why collectivism or nationalisation of industries and commerce shouldnt go ahead, we can get on to the real issues of self-management, direct action/empowerment and stopping interfering bastard management. Implementing compulsory schooling in survivalism, medicine and dentistry for all citizens and complete automation in areas of disagreeable work.
