It's my understanding that the Internet, upon which all the baby billionaires are making their fortunes, was first developed by a public institution -- the Government -- with the use of public funds. Ditto bioengineering. Ditto basic science in general. So what we have here is innovation created by a cooperative, shared body -- the Government -- being used by private "risk takers" to amass fortunes. Gotta love it, or not.
