Polarisation of wealth and privilege dont make capitalism unsustainable. There are libertarians today arguing that the more inequal society is the better because it provides a far greater incentive for people to compete (like wealth and privilege is man's only motivator, the heartless bastards), in the fashion that people are prepared to wager vast sums where there isnt a sure bet inorder to maximise returns on their bet, that's fine if you want a casino existence I dont.

It's not really the circumstances but how you react to them that effects the way those circumstances will change, your reaction may be restricted but it's not a foregone conclusion that you'll either suceed or fail whether your a supporter or an opponent of a particular social structure.

What really is making capitalism unsustainable is it's underlying logic that growth, economic expansion, growing the economy is possible when you only have finite resources and anyone with half a brain can see that you cant effect infinte exploiation of finite substance, you can't suck Guinness through a straw forever, just until your glass runs dry.
