The God Routine in new clothes?

The threat to humanity isn't anarchy -- it's the attempt to hot-wire morality by turning the responsibility for moral decision making over to mortal human beings, setting them up as demi-gods to be worshipped, and handing them the tools with which to destroy the human race.
