H: Looks like I was wrong here. I still bet he doesn't live in Montana. I think he was jokingly anticipating a Leftist caricature of him. If Garloo were one of those types (and a more likely state would be Idaho) he woudn't be hanging around these pages. Of course, I could be wrong again.
Qx:He could well be joking but I have lived in Saskatchewan before and the difference between the mentalities between the USA and Canada is very striking when seen from a Prairie perspective. Most farmers in Canada know what a bunch of rip-offs the big banks, railroads and grain cartels were and still are. In the USA most of the farmers I've known (in Montana and throughout) tend to do the knee jerk thing and blame "liberals" and whatever they don't think fits into their idea of the "American Way". The US Constitution has become an object of idolatry (but don't expect manstream Americanos to understand that truth.) which is great for getting people to not take into account that human beings make their own destinies. Bourgeois revolutions can be quite handy if they utilise cults of personalities like the Americanization programs have done.
None.
