: If you've not seen it, it's because you choose not to. See hereSorry you seem to have misunderstood me, I'm very open minded, if someone hears me and says so your socialist then? I would say no I'm in favour of human freedom, it knows no set absolute system.
What I meant was that the capitalist theories about spontaneous organisation of the economy dont manifest themselves in practice like they do in theory, it's no so much the 'invisible hand of the market' as the very visible hand of McDonalds, Microsoft, Starbucks, Nike, Addidas or Reebok etc.
Spontaneous competition gives way to organised oligopoly and monopoly, no different from the state and displaying as terrible might and power as the state in 1984, while competition has not created a moral, happy, independent but socially disposed population capable of thrift and differing pleasure, exactly the opposite.
Make no mistake I think that Smith, Rothbard and Nozick, Nozick particularly for his idea of capitalism between consenting adults or blaming capitalism for corporates is like blaming the car for drunken drives, are admirable Utopian day dreams but the manifestation in reality that they are apologists for is a disgusting enamy of freedom in the workplace and unmerciful with scare resources.
: Where on earth are you getting your definition of fascism? Here's mine (and the most common one):
: Fascism: A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.
Oh yeah, fine, that is a definite description, although I would say not typically but specifically with a policy of racial nationalism (white power is an international movement, the songs released in the US are sometimes recorded in Germany) or racial hatred, but that is the tactics of facism not the motivation.
Read any of the racially motivated hate accounts, about society being a garden full of weeds(I dont read nazi material first hand Andrew Vincents 'Modern Political Ideologies' is a fantastic work, if you read one political book in your life make it that one), and the motivation is competition.
Monopolisation and singular proprietorship is a means of attempting to win in a competition and that is why the nazi's employed dictatorship, it's the same tactics as McDonalds, Microsoft and Nike in the marketplace, not because it was intrinsic to their program. Nazi KKK heads in america fully support a freemarket because they think it includes ownerhsip of slaves.
: The only distinction between it and what might be called totalitarianism or authoritarianism is that fascism requires a single dictator, whereas either of the others might also be centralized under a bureaucracy.
I dont think that is a good definition at all, the racial and competitive criteria is the best and most popular with political theorists and the nazi's themselves, including that Turner Diaries author.
: Nowhere in the widely-understood definition of fascism is there anything about competition.
Do further research please, even e-mail Stormfront, the nazi's oppose socialism because it opposes competiton and conflict.
:Associating fascism with competition is a little meme that socialists have been trying to place for years now. Sadly, looks like the propaganda has stuck in your case.
I'm afraid not do further research, McSpotlight might be able to link you to the thread in which a Nazi Whitepower enthusiast visited this page and triumphed competition.
None.
