So here we see Barry praising the faithful, again, surprise, surprise, what about workers control? What about resolving the alienation created by the ownership and command of ones labour by someone else?If it doesnt get rid of hierarchy and produce egalitarian what is it for? It's like a torch without batteries.
Even if it was successful in creating a material equality, this equality wouldnt abolish the things that make hierarchy bad, that is authoritarianism, the death of the free will and free choice.
Dont get me wrong I know there is going to times when democratic decisions are necessary and we must say do your damn job to the lazy but we should strive to create an order, through trial and error not predetermined plans, where work isnt such a nightmare and laziness is really inexcusable.
No ones going to tell me to join the army or the police or be a dentist or doctor or accountant or economist or carpenter or engineer without my view being asked first.
None.
