Let's make the first step simple. How about we forget about remedies but start stopping what the U.S. is already doing? Stop the embargo of Cuba. Stop the embargo of Iraq. Stop using government power to intervene in labor disputes. Stop spending half of the discretionary budget on military spending.

After that, we'll talk about pro-active measures. Any objections to these, Gee?
