Reminds me of an anti-Gul War demo I attended at law school some years ago. All the football player types showed up to counter demonstrate by chanting "Kill Saddam Hussein! Kill Saddam Hussein!" Pointing out to them that Saddam had been our buddy just a few years earlier, or that the Kuwaiti Royalty was not exactly an appropriate "victim" to defend, got me nowhere fast. In the end, just looking at these no-neck meatheads screaming for Saddam's death, I felt like I was looking at a cliched scene from a badly written movie of the week...except that it was real.
