That was an error. I thought Gee meant to say that IF there were brain surgeons (who also did unskilled work), then the social division of labor would RE-EMERGE (in socialist society).
What he was saying, simply enough, was that if someone is ONLY a brain surgeon, then the social division of labor exists.
On a more personal note: Gee's posts DO bother me. Gee bothers me. His continual campaigns of blatent falsehoods is an effront to all intellectual discourse.
I really should ignore him.
