Take a look at one list for Wyoming everyone. Barry serves his purpose well to pick out those jobs above, but check down that top list - engineers, teachers, technicians and the 'evil ones' themselves (managers) - all feature strongly among what Barry considers 'mind numbing' work.

you and I have just gone to show how many more people as a proportion dont have to do mind numbing work now as compared to Smiths day.

So dont pretend its all the same, dont deny improvements where they manifest - dont pull doomsday nonsense.

If you argued that no one should do mind numbing work then people might consider your argument - when you have to pull off specific parts of stats to paint a picture that isnt there you show yourself as someone trying to pull wool over peoples eyes - and thats when those you suppose should be your 'allies' start to find your posts less and less reinforcing.
