Well I have sympathy with some marxist humanists, you know people who have taken marxism to heart as a philosophy or something but Marxism since Marx EG Russia etc. is a non-starter that gets workers killed.

Kautsky the german marxist reformer thought More's Utopia was a blueprint for the good society you know.
Have you read Edward Bellamy's 'Looking Backward', it's a similar account, more patriotic than socialist, it's on the net too.
