In other words they buy exemption from competition by using the power of government (in a very much voluntary two way deal).
Yeah, but gee I reckon that the rightful inheretors of the legacy of Smith would have been the ones that opted for state enterprise and regulation to prevent that or state enforcement of competiton, you know Keynes and co.

I can understand you when you say that, if it even asked for my approval or consent before it made me unemployed and every commodity overpriced I wouldnt be marginally impressed but it's like here like it or lump it there's no kind of alternative at all.
