Russia produced products that were highly durable, and usefull without it being over-priced.

The Russians were head-to- head with the Americans in most things. Aero-space technology, biology, physics, math. Just as an examle i'll take the SU-37, the plane was built more that 20 years ago. It was less than a third the price of a F-16, it outmaneuvered it, it out-ranged it, it out-carried it. And today it could still put up with the new F-22. I am not saying that all the peoducts that they have ever made were supperior to those that anyone else made, but Russia produced products that were highly durable, and usefull without it being over-priced.
