What does everyone think of the nation?

What's everyones views on nation? Or internationalism? Take Irish Nationalism, it pops up everywhere the irish go so is it in a degree internationalist? What is it's relationship to indentity? I think that it's all about identity and that we invent nationalism, it doesnt exist, to suit ourselves and the values we find important and that born in libertarian tolerance and mutualist respect or parity of esteem it isnt all that terrible and could be integrated into a socialist or anarchist perspective although subordinated to internationalism or globalised society or anarchy. Any takers for a row? Are all in agreement then?
