We are closer to making the revolution a PRACTICAL question, one that has to be founded in studies of empirical reality. The other path, of course, is to dismiss questions of empirical reality with a few choice quotes of the Founding Fathers of Marxism (and a prayer to Zyuganov), accompanied by an offhand dismissal of the askers of such questions as "liberal socialists". The question of "how will the revolution occur in my dreams" can thus be made to substitute for the question of "how do we create an empirical basis for revolutionary mobilization".
