But you are indeed right. Jesus makes no distinction between classes of people. Nor origins. Nor political affiliations. A Christian view of Capitalism and of rich capitalists does not reduce to a bumper sticker slogan.
It's just the blind assumptions that some folks make about 'the rich' that is a continuing source of amusement to me and the way that they would distort Christian teachings to justify their prejudices.
Now, anyone care to go on a sea quail hunt?
