Eldridge, former Minister of Information of teh Black Panther Party, was exiled to Algeria and France and later sold out, becoming a Republican businessman. Reportedly, he became a Republican after Jesus stopped him in France from putting a bullet through his head. personally, I would have chosen the bullet for myself rather than becoming a conservative. death before dishonor!
I also heard that they ran in a special election in Oakland a few years ago, and garnered thousands of votes against the Democrat - is that true?
What do they stand for exactly? Where would they fit on teh political spectrum? And how close are they to 1) winning any political office, 2) influencing the system in more subtle ways., or 3) launching effective protests, rallies, strikes, ro otehr extra-legal methods of advancing socialism.
