I also consider myself to be a treehugger. I cannot give reasons or a structured argument, save only that I know intuatively what I believe is right.
As for using wood products, I do not, other than the house I live in, ( I'll be setting up my tent in the summer ) the table I eat at ( I eat with my family ) and the buildings I am forcibly educated in.
Just think about it. There's not such a difference, as any biologist will tell you.
On a slightly different note, McDonalds are bastards for a myriad of reasons. Get out there and tell people. Protest outside the nearest store - it's fun and it works.
