DC Protest Report

The protest at Cleveland Park McDeath was a huge sucess. We gave out 160 vegan "burgers" in a little over an hour, and large quantities of literature.
While there were a great many empty seats in McD's, I cannot say whether this is because of the competition offered by better quality food distributed free or is normal. I DO know McD's would have sure liked to sell 160 more of their burgers instead of watching people eat for free. Meanwhile, the slaughterhouse footage reminded everyone just where McD's burgers really come from.
While this protest only raised the issue of how McD's treats animals other than humans(it was an animal rights action,after all) the fact is that McD's does not treat the human animal any better. In Fact, if what some people say about the safety of gtround beef is true, perhaps that makes McD's a slaughterhouse for humans as well!
