Recently the D.C. area animal rights group Compassion over Killing has found an effective way to really put the screws to McDeath. In COK's McD's campaign, slaughterhouse footage is shown on the "faunavision" battery-powered VR and TV outside while vegan "hamburgers" are given away free to all interested passers by.Interestingly,many of the recipients of the free food then take it inside McD's and eat it there-instead of a Big Mac or whatever. Management so far has either not noticed the difference or not dared to do anything about it. COK will be at another McDeath's outlet(the one across from the Uptown Movie theater in DC) on Saturday, March 14 from 12:00 to 1:30 pm. This should be a very interesting campaign,if past successes continue.EVERYONE IN THE DC AREA WHO WANTS TO HELP SHUT DOWN MCDEATH'S SHOULD COME TO THIS EVENT, which is part of the Great American Meatout.
Whatever position you take on animal rights, the fact is that McD' simply regards HUMANS as simply another animal that can be exploited for profit, no different from their cattle or their intensive-confinement raised chickens.
