I am most interested in either creating or helping to create action against
the Burger King I live and operate an art/photography/design business
over and the MacDonalds that is just next door.I am located on the busiest pedestrian street of San Francisco and
California. Seven Million people per year go by my door. This is
somewhat unique I believe.Imagine the smell, imagine the choice of poisons the consumer can make,
and imagine the trash on my door and the type of humans that are attracted
to these business (gangs etc.) and what they have done to this block......(i.e.
ruin it.)..(plus what they have done to me and my company). The owners
of the BK are now trying to bankrupt me and force me out so they can
expand the BK into my space. I will fight them to the "death"! If I had
appropriate legal support, there is no telling what I would do.I like your thoughts on "taking it to the streets". I wonder what you have
done, what you know of others having done in this regard. I would
sincerely appreciate bouncing ideas as to how I/we/others could stimulate
an activist community in SF to target the two glorius neighbors of mine for
creative outlandish media-driven guerilla theatre style events that
hopefully unveil a bit of their poisonous essence. Although I have
significant resources and ideas with which to work...I lack the "army of
troopers", and this is where I tend to get stuck...I cannot do this
alone....they (the enemy) are too big and powerfull for me to fight solo. These two business side by side make a perfect target.
Sent with sincere and kind regards for your work.
